You can buy reproduction brackets for mounting a console but there are som pros and cons. The good thing about buying them is that they might actually work. The bad part is that they cost money. These were fabricated from Stalls washing machine. His wife really doesn't mind washing clothes with a rock.

This is what our brackets look like. We have no idea what official Chevy brackets look like.

Here they are installed, big wide and soft just like Stalls ass! We ordered some brackets for the bucket seat conversion but could've made them pretty easily.

We have new carpet and jute which we'll put in later...
